Wind energy is abundant, reliable, safe and free. The UK is the windiest country in Europe and the resource is much greater during the colder months of the year when energy demand is at its highest.

Unlike fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas, wind energy will never run out. Harnessing onshore wind will deliver an important part of our future energy security.
