Anaerobic Digestion

This simple technology can efficiently convert waste streams and energy crops into Heat and Electricity.

The process replicates the inner working of a Cows stomach, producing a methane rich gas known as biogas, which is then burned in a combined heat and power generator to produce heat and electricity.

An AD system also produces a digestate which can be spread on arable land as a fertiliser.

One of the great advantages of AD is the consistent supply of energy it produces. This gives us a good base load supply necessary to balance the UK's energy portfolio.
