Grant Mackie, Director of The Greenspan Agency, joined a group of 27 on a two day tour of German Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plants. The trip was inspired and funded by Marks and Spencer as part of their Plan A initiative. The group was hand picked and included farmers from Aberdeenshire to Dorset. The tour was a great opportunity for all those involved to see the enormous potential of AD as a form of diversification which can also contribute to the UK Renewables obligation.
